It is no different than programming under Windows 7.
The eXpress train is coming - and it has more cars.

Of course I ask because it is sometimes difficult to understand what I'm asking. I understand that. I had one case. The system that I develop, began to not work on a computer Windows 8. So I ask, what it can be connected. I have two answers. Or deal in Alaska and incompatibility Windows 8 or deal in options Windows 8 (type of security policies) on this particular computer. I guess the second option. I just know that can customize Windows (and Windows 7 too) that nothing will not work.

Does not work. Displays any errors, type errors access to databases. All rights to write to the folder is. But it's not on my computer, and the computer student. I generally never installed 8. 7 everything works perfectly, although there are also some settings that did not work. At the same access rights to the folder on the record is.

hm ... how do you "install" your Xbase++ Application / Express++ Runtime ? as User or Administrator ?

did you use any 3-PP Lib ( exclude Express++ ) or activeX ? ( MsComCtl.OCX is NOT default installed on Win7/8 )

Question : did you have any Error Message ?

"where" did you installed your Xbase++ Application ? 32bit or 64bit OS() ?
did your Environment include Path to Xbase++ / Express++ Runtime ?
did you use XbpStatusBar() / XbpToolBar() ... need MsComCtl.OCX

That's the point that the student himself put 8 as an administrator, ie he has all the rights. Computer Modern, i5, 64 bit. Ocx I stopped using because Computer literacy at the university are all set so that almost nothing is impossible, and all that is possible - certainly :)
