Hello,
without eXPress++ I would never have continued using XBase++, saved me a lot of time and money, so the price is more than ok for me.

Thank you everyone for your responses.

I will continue to support eXpress++ in the same manner I have in the past and will not change the subscription rates.

I will be hosting a workshop at the 2012 U.S. Devcon in October.

Here's the conference link.

I only get what Steffen was willing to give me.
It looks like Clayton has a workshop too and from the info on the website, it now appears that it's only 1/2 day.

Hello All,

The fees are ok.
My software relies on Express++, i am willing to pay another 5 years ahead (again)!
If you are a proffesional (like me), and depend on Express++ you do not worry about that licence fee.

If you feel that Express++ it is to expensive, just write you own library with all those great features.
There are thousands of hours work in this software, it is only fair to pay for it.

According to the Geek Gatherings Registration page, both Roger and Clayton appear to have morning sections, Part 1 and afternoon sections, Part2.

So it appears that both have full day sessions, Part 1 and Part in the morning and afternoon.

Code: Select all

Pre-Conference AM	eXpress++ Workshop Part 1 (Roger Donnay) - morning

	99.00	0.00
Pre-Conference AM	TopDown Workshop Part 1 (Clayton Jones) - morning

	99.00	0.00
Pre-Conference AM	iPhone / iPad App Development for Beginners Part 1. (McNeish) - morning

	99.00	0.00
Pre-Conference AM	PHP for the VFP Developer (Bazian) - morning

	99.00	0.00
Pre-Conference PM	eXpress++ Workshop Part 2 (Roger Donnay) - afternoon

	99.00	0.00
Pre-Conference PM	TopDown Workshop Part 2 (Clayton Jones) - afternoon

	99.00	0.00

So hopefully it means what it says. We can get a full day of Roger, if you choose.

Cliff.

It looks like I have not been doing my homework. I've been too busy getting ready for a motorcycle trip.

I'll get all caught up after I get back from the run in about 9 days.

It's all happening in Colorado where it is burning right now.

Hi Roger

The truth of the matter is that Express++ is toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cheap relating to what is in there. The guy that made that complain really embarrass me. Here are my reasons. I purchase the following items at the rates given below:

1 Expresss++ www.donnay-software.com $499.00
2 Codejock www.codejock.com $599.00
3 Fast Report www.fast-report.com EURO 430.98
4 Xb2.Net & SQLExpress www.xb2.net EUR 800.00
5 Xlsgen www.arstdesign.com EUR 600.00
6 MoleBox www.molebox.com $299.00
7 Office Control www.ultra-officectrl.com $150.00
8 Yukon Project www.knowlexbase.com EUR 499.00
9 HelpScribbles www.helpscribble.com $100.00
10 EzTwain www.dosadi.com EUR 400.00
11 BigSpeed Zip www.bigspeed.net $150.00
12 FingerPrint www.innovatrics.com EUR9, 990.00

Yet Express++ is the life-wire of our development effort.

Roger, KUDOS to you
