XBase CRT Window

#1 Post by SKamin »

I have a CRT window that opens and the font is so small it is unreadable. The window appears to be typical 8x14 size but the font looks more like 4x6. Is there a setting for this?

Look at the sample program: \exp19\samples\crtfont\crtfont.prg.

It will show you how to choose the correct font for the crt window.

Roger,

Steve is asking about a crt window that has been running in various versions of our software for many years.. Today, for the first time, on a windows 7 machine, the font and size were much smaller than we've seen on other operating systems. Only happening on 1 of the client's machines. the rest of the client's machines are fine.

I'm thinking there s/b a registry entry somewhere that defines the settings for crt windows, and it's screwed up on this machine..

I suspect you are using a font not normally installed on Win 7. Maybe Terminal. Will need to chose another. Running that sample program should help.
