Birthdays

#1 Post by sdenjupol148 »

Roger,

Each year at this time I sneak in a birthday message and I'm always happy to do so for such a good friend.

This year however has been marred by some terrible events and some terrible losses.
As I begin to deal with the aftermath, I am blessed to have the help and love of my family.
They help me deal with the day to day process of putting life back together again and are a source of great comfort.
But I am also blessed to have good friends.
You were there to check on me, to lend an ear and to handle the work load I couldn't wrap my head around.
I didn't have to bear the burden because you took care of it for me.
And on top of that, from halfway across the United States you are even now, reaching out to deserving nurses and doctors here in New York who are on the front line with gifts of appreciation and recognition.

Truly you are one of the best people I have known in my life.
Thank you my friend.
Knowing you are just a phone call away is of great comfort to me during these times.

Live long and prosper.

Bobby

Brian,

The first day I realized that social distancing was being applied around the US, the very first person I thought of was you.
And my very first words were "Oh No. No Bread".
Hopefully you'll be able to make it up next year.

Yeah Brian, I remember Bobby saying that at least we can thank God for some things.
The eXpress train is coming - and it has more cars.
