I have been using ADS Remote Server (Not Local Server) on my XP development computer for several years with no problem connecting a client that runs on the same computer.
Now I am trying to connect from another client on my LAN and I get a 6420 error (server not discovered).
I am suspecting that this is not allowed because it's not running on a real server, but I'm not sure. Has anyone used ADS this way?

Roger I would look at the windows firewall and the DEP in performance options
