I am inquiring as to others success or problems with using ADS ADT files. We using it in a limited capacity for purposes of database replication.
I know Roger experienced issues with ADT's a while back and I don't know if his opinion has changed.

Re: Success with ADS ADT
I haven't tried to use ADT in many years.
Mostly, my issues were in converting an old Clipper application.
It was not possible to rebuild indexes in code at that time.
As long as indexes were always created and maintained by the Architect then everything was ok.
We also did a lot of SQL stuff when we did the conversion.
CDX indexes were still usable in a SQL cursor which made it possible to click the heading of a browse and get a different order.
I think I recall that we could not make this work with ADT.

The eXpress train is coming - and it has more cars.

Re: Success with ADS ADT
Is it supported. Didn't the original author pass away a couple of years ago.
Re: Success with ADS ADT
Yes. Sergey passed on about 3 years ago but FRAX is still compatible with Xbase 2.0. We have hundreds if not thousands of reports created with FRAX and I am sure alot of people do. We are hoping that at a point in the future, somebody will pick interest in Fastreport and do a similar project like FRAX. Creating reports in FRAX is so easy and fast yet very versatile that once you start using it, it will be hard to think of alternatives.
