??? Conflicts between Xbase++ Exe' & Hot Key programs

Has anyone had issues caused by customer written external hot key programs which access for read only purposes the DBF's in your program.

It sounds like these are very old programs that don't open the files in shared mode.

what exact is your Problem ?
where are DBF come from and what Type ( DBF/DBT, DBF/FPT ) ?
i remember, when using dBase III+, a TSR Programm to search in DBF ( read only )
later i found "Dr. Switch-ASE" LIB to make Cl*pper v5.x as TSR (!).

Client is using Microsoft access to access the DBF in read only .
