I was using the COMIX CDX Drivers with some success. However, with heavy file activity and lots of moving to different locations in the file, the index would get corrupted. The index would loop back on itself causing the program to loop forever on a set of 3 to 20 records.
I had one Tag that has a key of 140 characters. Though some create reorganization I got the key down to 100 characters. I then eliminated COMIX and my corrupted indexes went away.
In this one large data intensive application I found it best NOT to use COMIX. I am sure everyone's experience is different to their application,
