Are you getting email notifications?

I have not been getting email notifications from this board for the past 2 weeks.
I have been too busy to dig into the problem.
It may be just something on my end.

Has this been an issue for anyone else using this forum?

I have been trying to figure out why PHPBB3 suddenly stopped sending emails. I get a socket error in the PHP log that was never there before December 1. Something happened on December 1. Maybe it was a Windows update. I have searched the internet trying to find help to no avail.

windows 10 creator's update ?? maybe it's related to the problem that update caused for xb2net.. it was also socket error..

No. My server is running Windows 7 (64 bit).

I think I finally fixed it.

Required a new CACERT.PEM file for certification.

I tested by sending myself an email.
