Hello Roger,
to have the same coloring as with XBase++ 1.9 i have to change it to

RETURN {::tagColorFG, ::tagColorBG, ::tagColorFG, nil}

With your posted change, the cursor is not visible anymore.

Thank you for your solution, now i can test my app for other differences.
Then i will test my app with your version 263 (still using 261).
